Science Week

Room 4 celebrated Science Week by making Gloop! First we got some water. Then we got some cornflour. Next we put the water into the cornflour. After that we mixed it together. Then we stirred it. It was very hard sometimes. We touched it and it was hard. Then it went gooey. We picked some up and it went hard and then gooey. It was fun. By Frankie and Ruby.

Funky Feet Friday

On Friday Good Shepherd School celebrated Funky Feet Friday to raise awareness of Road Safety. Many children walked to school on the Walking School Bus. We talked about how we must be safe and look out for cars when walking down the street. Check out our Funky Feet!

Maths Time in Room 4

In Maths Stars Group have been learning how to skip count in twos. We used dogs and bones to help with our learning. Check out our problem solving!

Cross Country Running

What a race! On Thursday 8th May the whole school participated in our Good Shepherd School Cross Country. Check out the photos of some of our Room 4 fantastic runners.

Life Education Van

Room 4 visited the Life Education Van twice this week. We talked about our thoughts.
Sometimes the Head Hassler comes into our head and tells us negative/bad thoughts.
Sometimes the mind master comes into our head and tells us positive/good thoughts.
We need to listen to the Mind Master so the Head Hassler doesn't get bigger. If someone doesn't want to play with us we can listen to the Mind Master tell ourselves positive thoughts and find someone else to play with.
We can build resilience this way.
