Speech Finals

This week Good Shepherd School held the Speech Finals for 2014. Room 4 had Frankie and Tom who represented Year 2 and Kasha and Lachie who represented Year 3.
Well done to everyone in Room 4 who wrote and presented speeches in class they were to a very high standard.
Kasha placed 1st in the Year 3 finals
Lachie placed 2nd in the Year 3 finals
Frankie placed 1st in the Year 2 finals
Tom placed 2nd in the Year 2 finals.

Religious Education

For Religious Education we have been learning about the Sacrament of Penance. We have been talking about the importance of forgiveness. Together in Room 4 we wrote an acrostic poem about forgiveness.

Eric Carle Style Art

In Room 4 we read the story Rooster's Off To See the World by Eric Carle. We created some roosters of our own. We painted pieces of paper and cut our shapes to make them.
