Grandparents Day

On Friday we celebrated Grandparents Day!

We went to Mass and then had a lovely shared lunch followed by performances from our Sheridan Irish dancers, folk dancing and Kapa Haka as well as the choir and ukulele group.

We wrote some messages to our grandparents about why we love them and made a mural!

Mary Mackillop Day

Last Wednesday was the feast day of Saint Mary Mackillop.
The whole school attended Mass and afterwards we went into our buddy classes to do some exciting art work. Room 3 and Room 8 made some wonderful collages of Mary Mackillop and Room 4 and room 6 made a big mural. In Room 6 we made a large St Mary MacKillop doll and we placed paper dolls of ourselves around her. It was such a fun day working alongside each other, we all had so much fun!
